Reno punks Spitting Image digitally release their new album, Full Sun.

Full Sun is their first issue of new studio material since their Icon Alive EP, with the band working with Tim Green (The Fucking Champs, Nation of Ulysses) in March 2021 to helm the recording sessions at Louder Studios in Grass Valley, CA.

Full Sun will be the band's third work stint with Slovenly Recordings since the label first booked them to play the 2013 DEBAUCH-A-RENO festival alongside The Sonics, The Gories, and again for the 2019 installment alongside The Chats, The Spits, Surfbort, among others. They will make their third appearance at DEBAUCH-A-RENO 2023 this June alongside The Mummies, The Kids, The Troublemakers, and others to be announced.

Spitting Image came together in 2012 within the oft-overlooked underground DIY music scene Reno's incubated over the prior decades with their understanding of culture derived from coming of age in cramped rows of small record shops, cheap casino environments|cuisine, a slew of B-grade sci-fi|horror flicks, noise rock|hardcore punk shows, and the US political|social fallout of the 2007 housing crash. Their early efforts on Casino Trash and Broke Hatre won the quartet accolades from the underground press and support slots for Shannon & The Clams, Sheer Mag, Iceage, Surf Curse, Spiritual Cramp, and more.

Full Sun is now available on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, and all other digital platforms. Vinyl will be available in black and opaque cream in addition to cassette tapes on March 24th.
