Middle-Aged Queers have released a music video for “Pajama Party,” the latest single off their new album “Theatre of Shame” (Sell the Heart/Engineer Records).
Amid three years of touring, including several stops at festivals like Pouzza Fest (Montreal), Punk Rock Bowling (Las Vegas), the Recess Romp (Los Angeles), Camp Punksylvania (Pennsylvania), and
FEST (Gainesville, FL), the band made time to churn out another batch of queercore bangers.
Now, Middle-Aged Queers, voted “Best Live Band” for five consecutive years by the Bay Area Reporter, has released a new music video to chase away the bummers.
Shauners, Middle-Aged Queers’ front queerdo, writes:
“Inspired by the true events of our drummer Niki’s worst year ever, ‘Pajama Party’ is a love letter to your friends who are going through it. Sometimes, the only thing you, as a friend, are capable of is inflicting your toxic positivity as a distraction. And sometimes that manifests in showing up at someone’s house uninvited with a box of pizza. Shot and directed by the talented Val Sepeda, the music video evokes the perfect dreamlike slumber party we envisioned when writing the tune for Niki back in 2023.”
