At a time when empowerment anthems are more needed than ever, the band is releasing a rousing, punked-up cover of Lesley Gore’s feminist classic “You Don’t Own Me.” The song was the idea of labelmate Brian Ray (Etta James, Paul McCartney), who co-produced and contributed guitar parts to the track.

The Dollyrots are set to release their new album 'Night Owls' on October 13 via Wicked Cool Records. For 'Night Owls,' The band once again enlisted longtime collaborator John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, Meet Me At the Altar) who is responsible for the bulk of production credit. To keep the party going the band will be releasing a lyric video for all thirteen tracks on the album.

As they get set to embark on their Year Of The Bunny Tour pop-punk duo the Dollyrots release “Missing You (I Can’t Wait)” Co-Produced by Stevie Van Zandt at his Renegade Studios in NYC, with Geoff Sanoff (Fountains of Wayne, Darlene Love) Engineering and John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, Meet Me At the Altar) on mixing & Production as well. The song will be available on all major streaming platforms on June 16.
